Interface and Art Direction - Automotive design
HMI3D is an innovative interface project which involved brand new gesture interaction and holographic technology for car on-board computers.
The first step was to define the usability concept and interaction with the user in guidance mode. This part took a long research period and methodology, contrasting new technologies and legal performance of the computer when the user is driving.
Once the usability was decided and perfectly studied, the graphic and interactive design level started. My role as design leader for this project was to make innovative concepts and make visual sketches and simulations, as well as I assumed the responsability for the rest of the design team and visual interaction development team.
The result of this project makes me very proud, firstly because I started with this project from scratch and it is finished now perfectly as we all wanted and; secondly, I feel very happy with my team because of their commitment and full dedication to this project.
