Final Degree Project - Industrial Design Engineering
Inside the marckup of the Final Degree Project for my Degree in Product Design and Engineering, I developed a concept car based on a briefing in collaboration with SEAT Centro Técnico.
Exterior & interior design
Inspired by legendary muscle cars of last century but belonging to our contemporary days, this concept performs the future of transportation.
With fierce look and strong shapes, its character is inspired by SEAT style, adding a new concept of sports car.
Design process
Sketches are the first step of the development of this project, testing shapes and making the first prototipes in PU fibers.
Once the final volume of the car is decided, arrives the following step of 3D modelling in Rhinoceros 3D, testing shapes regularly with 3D printing technologies. To make the astonishing image and texture of SEAT Aira, I used KeyShot render engine with HDRI environments and lighting studio reflection.
Presentation
After the conceptualization of this car exterior, the model was printed in 3D and painted as a real concept car.
